đź“– New review paper: to regenerate or not to regenerate?

We reviewed vertebrate appendage regeneration models, focusing on frog tail and limb regeneration and mouse digit tip regeneration, comparing their strengths, limitations, and biological contexts. We discuss how these models can be instrumental in distinguishing true regenerative responses from amputation-induced injury responses, which are often difficult to disentangle.
